In a Time Such as This: The Urgent Need for Building Stronger Multifaith Communities in Minnesota
As we strive to respond to the urgent needs and disorientation of the past year, our path forward calls us to come together around our shared values of a more interconnected and just Minnesota. Coming together across faith traditions can be a powerful salve to the wounds of systemic oppression, division, isolation, and trauma that our communities have been struggling with during these turbulent times.
In this two part series, we invite you to hear from community and faith leaders, share your perspectives and stories, and be in relationship with people of different faith backgrounds. Together we will grapple with what it means to cultivate authentic relationships that can acknowledge and honor our differences. What gets in the way of us coming together? What is required of us to truly build multifaith communities in Minnesota? What do we want to leave behind and what do we want to create as we move forward together?
