2023 SPRING HOLY DAYS

This spring, for the second in more than three decades, followers of several faiths will observe religious holidays over the same month.
From March 20 to April 21, this includes:
March 20: Vernal Equinox Pagan
March 20: Naw-Rúz Baháʼí
March 22 – April 21: Ramadan Islam
March 22: Ugadi Hinduism
March 30: Ram Navani Hinduism
April 5 – April 13: Passover Judaism
April 4: Mahavir Jayanti Jainism
April 6: New Year Theravada Buddhism
April 9: Easter Christian
April 14: Vaisakhi Sikhi
April 20 - May 2: Ridván Baháʼí
This means people of these faith traditions around the world will be practicing their significant religious and cultural traditions around the same time. This overlapping of spring holy days will not happen again until 2054. This convergence is an important opportunity to remind our communities yet again, of our interconnectedness
and a chance to recommit to our highest ideals for creating and caring for
communities where everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.
