Martha E. Stortz taught at Augsburg University from 2010-2020 as the Christensen Professor of Religion and Vocation. Prior to that, she taught in the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley for almost thirty years. Currently she serves on the Collegeville Institute Board, where she helped lead the first Multireligioius Fellows Program with Rabbi Barry Cytron. A layperson and a Lutheran (ELCA), she is a published author, speaker, and consultant.
