Ram Gada

Ram Gada is the founder & past president of the Jain Center of Minnesota in 1989. He currently serves as its Chairperson of Trustee Advisory Council; JAINA Director since 1989; and member of JAINA Interfaith Committee where he serves as Vice president Midwest on its Executive Committee. He was the recipient of "JAINA RATNA "award-2019. Ram is an honorary and Emeritus Member at Minnesota Historical Society after serving 9 yeas on its Executive Council and as Vice President. He is on the boards of Twin Cities Nonviolent the Minnesota Interfaith Network. He was the founder and president of the Gujarati Samaj, 1977, and is a supporting member of many cultural and social organizations: KOJAIN, MAIDA, IAM, SILC. Ram received the Lifetime Achievement Award, 2014, from the Asia Pacific Council of Minnesota. He co-founded the India Oral History Projects at the Minnesota Historical Society where narrated his autobiography, "THE $8 MAN," in 2017. He was President of Gada & Associates, Inc., Consulting Engineers 1980-2010 and President of Minnesota Chapter of ASHRAE 1982-83.
