Robert Pickering is a native of native of Idaho, and moved to Minnesota in 2003 with his wife Amy. They have three teenagers and live in Roseville.

Robert has a degree in accounting from the University of Idaho, a MBA from Metropolitan State University and a Masters in Public Affairs from the Humphrey School at the University of Minnesota. Since 2008, Robert has served as the CFO of 2 different nonprofit organizations.

Giving back to the community through service is important to Robert. Robert’s past nonprofit board experience includes the Charities Review Council and Community Dental Care. He currently serves on the board of the Nonprofit Insurance Trust and on the finance committee for Emma Norton Services. Robert served as a bishop for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints from 2016-2021.
